First Burger Review

So, last week was my brother's birthday and we went out to eat twice.  The first time was to Red Robin.  Now, Red Robin is all about burgers, but as I've said, I don't like my burgers full of STUFF, so none of their specialty burgers are all that appealing to me.  So, I had my normal Cheeseburger (Burger, cheese, bun) and fries.

These chain restaurants are sometimes better and sometimes worse.  On this particular day, the burger I had was a 3.5 on my Friesenburger scale.  Remember...a Friesenburger is a 6!  It was a good burger.  Just no Friesenburger.  As for the fries, they have kind of a different scale and I just rate them all between a one and a five.  The Red Robin fries were a 2 on this day.   I'm not the biggest fan of Red Robin fries because they taste pretty plain without ketchup.  I like ketchup but I enjoy fries that I can eat without it too.

Then the next day we went out to Applebees.  I got my usual burger just like at Red Robin.  The Applebees burger was just a 2.  Again, nothing exciting.  The fries however were a 4.5.  I like those Applebees fries!

In a couple of days, I'm going to toss in a sandwich review.  I've had a couple of good ones lately and thought I'd share.

I'm going to be in North Carolina in about a week and a half.  I'm looking forward to trying some burgers outside of Washington.
